Hi, I’m Elodie—a single mother, researcher, and the creator of Merci Mummy.

Like many of you, I’m not just parenting; I’m breaking cycles, unlearning reflexes shaped by trauma, and designing tools to help others do the same.

As someone living with C-PTSD, I’ve spent years understanding how my past influences my present—and how I can actively rewrite the story for my son and myself. My mission is simple: to build a village of tools, truths, and togetherness for parents committed to raising the next generation consciously.

My Story in Brief:

I grew up in a world where violence—physical, emotional, and psychological—was normalized. My trauma wasn’t a one-time event; it was a thread woven into my everyday life, shaping how I saw myself and how I related to others.

Becoming a mother is still cracking me open. It forces me to confront the reflexes I’d inherited, the patterns I’d absorbed, and the systems I wanted to dismantle. It’s not just about raising my son differently; it’s about reprogramming myself.
